Psychotherapy and meditation: A stress-free September

September can setress out everyone.

September marks the return to school and work, often bringing with it stress and anxiety. The daily challenges, new responsibilities, and pressure can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Does this sound familiar to you?

What I recommend during this dynamic period is combining counselling with meditation techniques to achieve peace and balance.

Therapy helps us understand our reactions to stress and challenges, identify emotions, and change negative thought patterns. Meanwhile, meditation works on a deeper level, helping to calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and build resilience against stress. Regular meditation practice improves concentration, lowers cortisol levels (the stress hormone), and positively impacts overall well-being.

The combination of these two therapeutic methods can produce remarkable results!

Simple techniques, such as breath-body scanning or practising mindfulness during everyday tasks, can help manage stress. These practices don’t require much time – just a few minutes each day can make a difference.

Through psychotherapy and meditation, we can transform September into a time of reflection, self-discovery, and inner peace.

If you’d like to learn more about these techniques or need support in returning to your daily routines, we invite you to a therapeutic session.

Together, we’ll find a way to make your September more harmonious!
