Holistic approach to health

The body-mind-spirit-emotion connection is very confusing. These connections and their mutual influences on each other are often difficult to understand. This is why some people deny them. Yet they were, are and will be. And there are plenty of them.

I myself have been experiencing this every day for many years. I can clearly see in myself, and in the people I work with, when we have a disturbed balance in taking care of the body, mind, soul and emotions.

Because I run Counselling and Hypnotherapy, I will not write much about taking care of the body itself. I’ll leave that to the experts in the field. I will mention the most important, in my opinion, matters.

If your overall health, general well-being and life satisfaction level is not satisfactory, it is worth finding out which aspect of your life has been neglected.

YOUR COMMITMENT

A holistic approach to health requires your involvement in the process of diagnosis and treatment. First of all, it is about observing your own body and listening to it. When you listen to yourself, you will start to notice more, e.g. which food does not serve you, that something is wrong with your body or that you are approaching the limit of the amount of stimuli that you are able to safely receive today. Sometimes your body is telling you clearly that it needs rest and demands a moment of relax.

It would be so much easier if there was a magic pill for every problem, wouldn’t it? As we know, there is no such magic, which is why your involvement is so important.

Holistic living is a conscious view from the level of the heart, body, spirit and emotions on the whole organism as a unity, with as natural support as possible. It’s about taking care of balance and looking for the cause. It is reaching the source of pain or illness and becoming your most loyal fan and support. Everything connects.

Do you now understand that we have to take responsibility for our own health? So much depends on ourselves, on our daily choices, on what we eat, how we think and how we spend our free time. It depends on what emotions we allow ourselves to feel, if we live according to our beliefs and whether we keep the right balance in life.

Sometimes, in order to be joyful and bursting with energy again, you need to make changes on many levels. Sometimes radical and not easy steps are needed, such as changing your profession, leaving a toxic relationship, working on your addiction or therapy with a counsellor.

However, it is worth remembering that you have one life and if you do not take care of yourself, no one will do it for you.

OUR REGULAR MEETINGS

From June 2022, usually every last Saturday of the month, we run an “Open Day” at Someone to talk. These meetings are still free, although this will probably change soon.

Each month we focus on one topic. During this time you can talk to me and other people, exchange views, learn something valuable…

Such meetings are bombs of good energy.

Cheers.

EFFECTS

The most important thing I want to tell you today – IT WORKS. I am a living example of this. When I take care of myself, I am calmer, more patient, my creativity is at a high level… These and other benefits also affect others around me: the happier I, the happier others.

If you think that you currently have an imbalance in your life and you can’t deal with emotions, and therefore you can’t cope in life, talk to me.

I am your someone to talk to.

Let me help you and make an appointment for your first session with me.
